OvaCure uses both Facebook pixels and Google Analytics.
Facebook Pixel is an analytics tool that we use to measure the effectiveness of our Facebook advertising by analyzing the actions you take on our website. Using Facebook pixels, OvaCure collects data about your movements on our website for marketing purposes on Facebook.
Google Analytics helps website owners measure how the visitor interacts with content on the websites. You can read more about the use of Google Analytics here.

Personal information
Personal information covers all information that can be used to identify a person, including (but not limited to) his or her first and last name, age, gender, home address or other physical address, email address, or other contact information, whether related to that person private residence or workplace.
What personal data do we collect and process?
As a general rule, you can access the Website without telling us who you are or otherwise providing personal information about yourself.
However, OvaCure needs certain personal information from you if you wish to make a donation or receive our newsletter.
OvaCure collects and processes information about you when you:
- Make online donations
- Subscribe to our newsletter
- Send us an e-mail
OvaCure only collects the personal information necessary (eg email address and name) to provide the service you request.
OvaCure uses OnlineFundraising to handle online donations and does not even store card credit card information.
To whom do we pass on personal information??
When subscribing to the newsletter, we register your e-mail address and your name. The email address will not be passed on to others. If you choose to donate, the information will be forwarded to the Fundraising Agency. You can read more about OnlineFundraising’s processing of personal data here:
Where and how is your data stored?
The personal information is stored on a server in Denmark. Personal data is stored in accordance with current legislation on the protection of personal data. We only store the personal information for as long as is necessary in relation to the stated purposes above. Data sent to our server is encrypted with an SSL connection.
